I have a set of K03's I'm taking off my '00 S4 tomorrow. They were replaced at 120k and I have 150k on the clock now (timing belt jumped a tooth racing it a couple months ago, just now getting around to it, going to put K04's on with the rebuilt heads).

Blew strong, no noise or oil/coolant smoke. I'll know about shaft play tomorrow when I get them off but I'd be surprised if they had any having only 30k approx miles on them.

$275 plus shipping for the set ($137.50 each)? New on eBay cheapest rebuilt/new ones look to be $330+ each, so that's less than half that. If you want, I can put a rebuild kit (new bearings, seals, washers, rings) on them for an extra $50 each. I've rebuilt quite a few turbos over the years, not a big deal, takes about an hour or so each, rebuild kit is roughly $30 bucks, would take me about a week to get the rebuild kits in, rebuild it, and ship it.

If you want them professionally rebuilt (CHRA's cleaned, etc), Turbo Auto does mine here in Nashville, $125 extra each, puts you at roughly $265 each, but I typically don't do that unless they've blown a seal or have excessive shaft play and I need them checked to make sure they didn't get damaged.

lmk, thanks

Will do. I haven't even taken them off the car yet, haven't had time. Planning on doing that this Sunday afternoon. I'll give you a shout when I have them off and can see how much shaft play they have. Like I said, they were running fine when I jumped timing, no reason to think they won't be OK, but always like making sure before I sell someone something.

Thanks,

I haven't been on the forum in a couple weeks, was on vacation for my wife's 35th birthday.

I left you a voicemail yesterday, I'm off this evening and all day tomorrow, give me a shout back at the number I called you at or you can email me at lear70@gmail.com

Thanks,
