For Trade - 99.5 Audi A4 V6 2.8L 30V Quattro 5sp
Hello,
I have up for trade my own 99.5 Audi A4 V6 2.8L 30V Quattro in Santorin Blue with 130K miles and a 5sp. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car, all maintenance is up to date and I have all receipts and records to prove it. Ideally, I would like to trade for a similar value A4 1.8T Quattro with the turbo in decent shape or that will need minimal investment to get it to run just as good as mine. I am more of a tuner and when I bought my car, I didn't know there wasn't much aftermarket support for a 2.8L. This is the only reason I am willing to trade for the smaller engine.
I got the car when it had around 122K, since the previous owner did not have any records of the car I went ahead and changed the following:
1. Timing belt and water pump.
2. All 6 spark plugs with NGK V-Power plugs.
3. Sepertine belt.
4. Cabin air filter.
5. Cleaned the K&N drop in filter.
6. Replaced the radiator and radiator support (had light front damage on the left side.)
7. Replaced radiator fan blade.
8. New battery.
9. Replaced front tires (currently over 50% left)
10. Replaced the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor (commonly fails on B5's)
11. Replaced the hood and front bumper with OEM parts and had them paint match and blend to the side fenders.
12. Did a "BG" Fuel System Service to clean the engine out.
13. Replaced rocker panel rubber moldings on all 4 doors.
14. Replaced the left horn.
15. Replaced hazard triangle.
16. Added 8000K 55W DDM Tuning HID kit for lows.
17. Added 6000K 35W Xentec HID kit for fogs.
18. Replaced battery cover and tie down.
19. Replaced a few rusted clamps on the exhaust with OEM clamps.
20. Added and reprogrammed a new key FOB (since one did not come with the car).
21. Replaced the Central Lock Pump and module.
22. Supersprint muffler.
It still needs a fix on a rip on the driver's seat and a trunk cdplayer (I have a concert HU).
I am also willing to trade for a BMW e36 or e46 in good condition or any later A6's. Let me know what you have, I am located in Westchester County, NY. Again, I have all records of all the above things I have fixed, car needs nothing other than regular maintenance in the future. The only reason I want to trade my perfectly running car is for my preference for a 1.8T that I can mod more easily.
Pictures are posted here, they are not up to date, since I have added the A4 emblem to the trunk and fixed all the rubber moldings on the doors and they were taken before the fogs had the HID kit installed.
