NH: 2003 a6 4.2L
I'm just going to repost my CL add here. I'm looking for 8k! It's in great shape..
I am moving to Oregon shortly and I would like to sell my Audi here. We will have no need for AWD (yay no snow!) and would like to go back to RWD cars. This Audi is in great shape and the 4.2L is the best engine by far. Why buy one of the many 2.7L twin turbo A6's when you can have a 300hp V8, plus you don't have to replace a pair of turbos when they wear out ($3,600+ just in PARTS!). The 4.2L also has a lower stance and a standard sport suspension.
Our A6 needs nothing mechanically, there are no lights, and all of the maintenance is up to date including brakes tires etc. The exterior has one long scratch on the drivers side and a couple small rust spots right above the windshield. There are no dents or body damage. A good paint detail should fix 90% of problems (I suggest unique car care in MA, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Unique...7135170?v=info ). The interior shows some wear showing around the switches but everything works and works well. It has a cold weather package with HOT heated seats and even a heated steering wheel. The A/C is flawless as well.
The 4.2L is not easy to find and this one is in good shape. A6's are not expensive to maintain even with higher miles. I have found that DTM Autowerks ( http://www.vwtuningnh.com/ ) are fairly priced, skilled mechanics and very trustworthy. I've done much of my maintenance with them and it's not any more expensive than other used cars.
Sorry the pics kind of suck, when the snow melts I'll wash her up and repost new pics.
