$15,000 BO. You could part it out for that much.

This car is a 2001 A6 quattro 4.2 V8. But at some point in its life the brakes, interior, suspension, ground FX, & exhaust were all swapped in from a wrecked 2003 RS6. Don't ask me why, but it looks awesome. It has the stock low mileage 300-320 HP naturally aspirated 4.2 liter V8. NOT the twin turbo RS6 V8... sorry. It was in a freshwater street flood (parking garage water main break) and has a salvage title that has been recertified. Flooded up to the bottom of the seats. The transmission computer (under seat) burned out and someone drove it with the bad computer. That burned up the tranny, so I put in a new computer and a remanufacted Audi tranny. I sent the alternator out to be rebuilt as a precaution, changed all fluids, disassembled and cleaned the brakes, new tires, and off it went. I bought it with 25,000 miles on it, repaired what was important to me, and it now has about 37,000 miles on it.

-Bose stereo w/6 disc in-dash changer.
-Carbon Fiber Trim
-New Audi Remanufactured Transmission
-RS6 Wheels (curb rash)
-RS6 front grill & bumper
-RS6 rear bumper
-RS6 exhaust (deep rumble)
-RS6 spoiler
-RS6 suspension (lowered)
-RS6 brakes. (The best feature and worth a couple grand on their own, they are awesome)
-HID headlights


Needs Some Work!:
-Only some of the seat motors work. It will need 3 or 4 new ones (salvage yard) as well as a memory module. I never fixed it because I manually adjusted the seat where I like it.
-The keyless needs to be reprogrammed or has a dead battery. It won't unlock the doors.
-The car shifts like normal but the tiptronic mode is not hooked up. The steering wheel had paddle shifters on it but it is from a 2003 RS6 and the car was a 2001 A6. I haven't tried making them work yet.
-2 front tires have bubbles on them. I have 4 used tires (80%) that I will give you with the car. Nice 255/50 Z18's
-1 missing wheel center cap. I found it online for $26 missing 1 lower grill piece.
-Exterior: Some scratches where someone pulled off the RS6 emblem on the trunk. Cracked front valence. Dent on passengers side sail panel, not very noticeable.


So people always ask me why I am selling it. I'm not sure why because I could tell you anything like I came down with an allergic reaction to black leather, or I found out German engineering is against my religion. But the real reason is I want a smaller car like an S4/A4/TT and don't need the larger car. I also love my manual transmissions. So let me know what it's worth to you.


In fact, I would consider a trade for a 2000+ A4/S4/TT. HAS to be manual tranny & quattro. Preferably under 60,000 miles. Let me know. Email me for more pictures. Thanks Craigslist.
