I’m selling my A4. It is a 98.5 1.8T 5 speed Quattro. The car has 273k on it; I have taken very good care of this car, replacing whatever needs to be done. Sport edition 3 spoke wheel, and big bolstered seats, gray interior. There are scratches, dents, and chips in the paint, but what do you expect for a car with 273k miles on it. There is no rust on the car. It starts and runs great; I commute 500 miles a week with it and get 27 mpg. I’ve always used the bigger oil filters from GAP. Most of the parts I put into it came from GAP or ECS.

At Thanksgiving I hit a rock with my oil pan, causing the oil to drain. I pulled the pain hoping to just put a new pain on it, but further inspection proved that a new motor was needed. I found a 98 Passat and swapped that motor in. I did the swap at 268k, the Passat motor had 161k on it, so the motor in the car only has 166k on it. Along with the motor I used the newer turbo, and PS pump.

I kept my old motor, and was planning on building it for a BAT(you can see some of the supporting mods already in), with a bottom end and such. But school and work calls for a truck, so this needs to go.

The good:
Control arms at 235k
Steering rack at 260k
Right rear wheel bearing at 262k
Bosch 120 amp alt at 268k
All exhaust and intake gaskets at 268k
Left rear wheel bearing 272k
2 sets of wheels, winter steelies and summer
Battery is one year old
Bose radio and speakers

The bad:
Timing belt/water pump only has 10k left in it.
The ABS doesn’t work, but it comes with a working pump.
The Cruise Control doesn’t work. (Probably needs a new module like they all do)

The Mods:
Stage 4 South bend Clutch with 5k on it
Full turbo back exhaust, 3 inch test pipe, 2.5 inch down pipe, Y pipe into an AWE s4 exhaust.
Flashed GIAC ecu.
Drilled and slotted front rotors.
Vmaxx coilovers with 5k on them.
710N dv
K&N filter
VDO boost gauge in the center vent.
Wheel studs
Oz 17x8 summer wheels with nankang tires 10k on tires
16” steelies with studdless snows 15k on tires.
10% tint all the way around with a life time warranty
S4 motor mounts
European S4 head lights. These were shipped from Europe, they are 2 piece hid’s, these are the brightest lights I’ve seen in an a4.
