HIstory:
-First owner leased in September 1999 maintained by audi dealers per maintenence shedule
-Second owner bought CPO in 2002, Maintained by Audi dealers and independent specialists, switched to mobil1 synthetic oil
-I'm the third owner, purchased in May of 2007, I've only done 2 oil changes so far, but a ton of maintenence (see below) I've used OEM Castrol 5w40.

Recent (november 2007, 75,000mi.) maintenance:
All(8) updated front control arms
Inner and outer tie-rods on both sides with new steering rack boots
Complete four wheel alignment
Fresh OEM power steering fluid
All new engine mounts
New valve cover gaskets
New cam, crank and intermediate shaft seals
Timing belt
Timing belt tensioner and roller
All three accesory belts
Both oil cooler hoses
Oil cooler seal
Water junction on back of cylinder head
ECT sensor
OEM spark Plugs
K&N drop-in filter
pollen filter
fuel filter
Water pump
Coolant expansion tank
Fresh Transmission fluid

Other
The vast majority of the items above were replaced as preventative maintenance, based on my experience working for VW/Audi dealers for the past 10 years, I had originally intended on keeping the car for 5+ years. Runs and drives as it should, everything works, very clean inside, Good paint on body front bumper has usual chips for the age of the car. comes with 16" sport package wheels with Dunlop Wintersport 3Ds(only 8,000mi) and 17" BBS RX with Bridgestone RE050 summer tires (only 3,000mi.). I wil hold the title within the week, no bank lein hassles. I will deliver up to 2 hours away.

The bad:
-As stated above, the front bumper paint has the usual chipping for a car of this age
-There is a line of pixels out in the climate control display(HVAC works fine and is totally legible, It has been this way since I got the car and it does not bother me, if this bothers you new HVAC heads can be had for $50-$100 in the classifieds at almost any time)
-The brakes just passed VA safety(barely) they will need be replaced within the next year or 10,000mi depending on how you drive. I will be happy to install new brakes for whomever buys this for no labor charge, and may be willing to pay for up to half of the parts(if you are that serious about the car I'll be happy to work out the details with you)
-The usual tear is in the lower driver's seat bolster, I will have this repaired before the sale is final
-There are two small dents on the passenger side of the car(they won't show-up in pictures) I will try to get these removed before the sale of the car as well.

Reason for sale:
I'm 6'3" and prefer a car without a sunroof. I accidently have found a B6 avant that does not have one, so this needs to go.

Price
$8500
I came to this price by checking the values for this car on KBB, Edmunds, and NADA for both 1999 and 2000MY vehicles, added them all toghther and divided by the total number of prices I had. The average was just shy of $8000, and I added the extra for the BBS wheels They have nearly $800 in new rubber on them not to mention the cost of the wheels.
