Asking Price: $8,000

I originally bought this car through a deal that fell into my lap by pure luck. I took it on as a project car and have been fixing it up for a year and a half now. Unfortunately, my dreams of owning this car now have to be placed aside. My primary method of transportation is giving out fast, and I need money for a down payment on a new car as a daily driver. If I could get by without selling this car, I would. The least I can do is make sure it finds a good home.
The car runs and drives, it hasn't been sitting around rusting away for years like a lot of examples you'll find going for $5k these days. The previous owners did a decent job of taking care of the car. The car is currently located at my home Rhode Island. I'd be willing to help ship the car, but the buyer must pay all costs. The VIN is of course available for a CARFAX report if deemed necessary, but I can probably tell you a lot more about the history of the car through the research I've done myself.
Buyer will also receive a Haynes manual on the 1984 model, usually goes for $100. Sadly the '83 manual isn't sold anymore. The only difference in model years is some of the wiring. I also have printouts of two very helpful PDFs that detail how some of the car's basic inner workings if you're not familiar with this type of Audi.
If you're serious about buying this car, please shoot me an email at darkdb@***.net. I'll give you a full rundown on all the details. Feel free to ask questions here on the forum as well. High-resolution photos are available of any part of the car you may desire to look at. If you want to see something in more detail, let me know and I'll snap a quick shot of it and send it your way.
