I'm selling my 2001 Audi A4 Quattro AWD. It has the 1.8l Turbo 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual trans. Car has been absolutely babied since day one (always used Mobil 1 oil every 3K) and is in great shape. The engine runs great and doesn't knock or burn oil (only needs about 1/2 quart every 3000 miles which is well below average for this car).
Recent maintenance includes;
- New Battery 7/2012 (84 month warranty)
- Rear brake pads replaced 6/2012
- New vacuum lines (had only one break but changed all the old ones I could find) 6/2012
- Rear passenger wheel bearing replaced 11/2011
- Front brake pads and rotors 08/2011
Car has been serviced by an Audi specialist since new and has been maintained with a preventive maintenance mindset so it is in great shape and needs nothing. Should pass MD inspection no problem (although I haven't had it inspected so I can't guarantee this). The body is in good condition with only a few minor scratches. Most notable is a scratch from a bump and run jerk in a parking lot on rear bumper which could probably be touched up but I've never bothered as it's not bad. Interior is in good shape too but could use a new driver's side floor mat.
Added bonus! I have the APR engine management software installed which increases the engine's power to 214 HP (up from 180) and 247 ft/lbs of torque (up from 173). You can switch back and forth between this and stock mode easily from the steering wheel controls. Makes the car all around easier to drive but let me stress that I NEVER drove it like an idiot or came even close to redline (don't need to as the power comes in at very low RPM's)
The car has 143,XXX miles on it and is ready to go for another 140K (these engines and transmissions can go the distance, look it up!). I'm asking $4200 and I strongly believe it's worth it but cash talks so let me know.
Car is in Laurel, MD and can be seen below;
