I need honest opinions on the best solution, a week and half ago my car(1997 A4 1.8t quattro) broke down, it was the oil leaking into the coolant which blew the head gasket. The engine has already been rebored once when the timing belt snapped while i was going 40mph down the highway at 75,000miles......which i believe is a recall.......but the thing is i dont feel like spending all that money again to fix the engine. 1. Im trying to see what the car would be worth without getting the repair done(115,000miles)?
2. Where can i get rid of it without fixing it?
3. I remember looking at a website that was selling used parts from audis, but i cant remember the site.
