2000 Imola S4 Stage 2+ (FMIC, etc..) Very Clean!!!
I just sold my other Stage 3 S4 and plan on getting back into an M3, and i've decided to sell this S4 as well. Otherwise I wouldnt sell this car; I absolutely love it! Its dependable - never had it break down on me - and extremely fun. Its also been a fun project. I've been sure to keep it maintained and in the best condition inside and out for the most part.
I get all my work done at a local shop here in Roanoke, the mechanic has always been great - I have all the service receipts and even the receipts dating back to the original owner. I have pretty much all the parts receipts for the big ticket items like coilovers, timing belt, etc, as well. I've been sure to change the oil ever 5K miles religiously, as well as keep an eye on all the other fluid levels.
When I first bought the car last January I put it in the shop to get all the fluids changed out. This includes the motor oil, tranny oil, and diff oils. In addition, the tires on it are very fresh, and have at least 75% tread life.
Right now the car has 95,XXX miles on it. I bought it at around 82k. The two previous owners were both older men who spared no expenses when it came to repair or maintenance work. CLEAN title. Never been tracked.
This past week I had the serpentine belt, tensioner, fan/fan clutch, etc., all replaced. The tensioner was making some noise so I had the mechanic pull the front end off to get that replaced, and while they were in there I had them replace all the other stuff along with it.
The interior is in excellent shape (notice i've always kept the floormats plastic wrapped ), no tears in the leather; however the little display in the dash is pixelated like allot of the 2000 S4s are. The passenger, driver's, and rear seats are in great condition. The exterior is in good shape as well, there are a few door dings on the outside, but nothing major.
There are a couple things I will note with the car. Right now the CEL light is on because im running test pipes - no cats, so the O2 sensors have thrown a code. Thats the only reason its on. This can be fixed by either putting catts back in, or installing defoulers. It never bothered me much so I just left it that way for the time being. Also, the door lock mechanism is currently not working. You can manually lock and unlock all the doors without any problems, thats what I do. The alarm system still functions perfectly. Im not sure exactly what the issue is, but I believe it may be due to the door lock relay system. Lastly, I believe the snub mount will need to be replaced soon - if you focus on the feeling, you can sense some movement between shifts if you don't shift it smoothly.
Now for the good stuff:
* GIAC X chip (MBC/TCD) with XR race gas program as well
* Neuspeed Catback
* Straight Downpipes/Test Pipes
* Custom FMIC
* H&R Coilovers
* 710N DVs
* Tinted windows
* VDO Boost Gauge
* 225/40/17 Pirelli Pzero Neros with 75% tread life
* Chrome mirror covers
I am located in Roanoke, Virginia.
Im looking for $15,750
Price drop $13,000 firm

More air for the intercooler. Plus, when I did the project the center of the bumper was messed up from a bunch of license plate holes, so I just cut it out.
It wouldn't be difficult to replace the bumper though.

How flexible are you on price? I mostly ask because the first thing i would be doing is buying a new bumper.

Can I get some more detailed pics of the front bumper sent to me. I just want to inspect it a little bit. I feel like I see some paint chips in the side grills... Just want to check it out a bit before I would come out to look at it. Also is it possible to fit a stock bumper over the intercooler? I know it isn't the best for performance to do this but I'm just curious.
Thanks!
