Default 00 a6 4.2

Well lets see if I can sell her.

It is a 2000 a6 quattro with 4.2 engine, just under 104k on the clock. Vanilla colored leather with royal blue to compliment the interior, as well as LED lighting throughout the inter and trunk, really makes the interior colors pop at night! Rating- 7 out of 10

Exterior is your run of the mill silver, windows tinted, LED tail lights. Simple, clean, but nothing crazy. Body an paint has your average scuffs and a few rock chips, no real dents, no rust at all. Rating 7-8 out of 10.

Aftermarket custom exhaust with magnaflow mufflers, Opens up nicely while cruising! paid roughly $800 for the set up because at first it was too much drone on the interior so I added a few aftermarket resonators.

Almost 2k into engine maintenance over the past year and a half, which includes..

New PS pump and fluid
New spark plugs
New valley pan gasket
New front cam seals as well as exhaust cam bore plugs
New upgraded billet aluminum oil cooler pipe along with new oil cooler seals.
New cam chain tensioner gaskets and half moon seals, and new valve cover gaskets.
New N80 valve
Numerous coolant seals were replaced, that include the crossover pipe seals on the back side of the engine, which required an engine pull.
New rear main seal
New 10mm intake spacers and gaskets from JHMotorsports
New serpentine belt
Cabin air filter is new as well as engine air filter
IK there are a few more items but I cannot think of them right now.

Suspension work just done less than 2k miles ago $1100

New Koni Yellow struts all the way around as well as H&R Lowering springs.
The car also has the upgraded, beefy H&R sway bars front and rear (previous owner)
Control arms and bushings up front are all brand new with New Tie rods, with alignment.

Brakes-$700 all pads and rotors were replaced at around 93k and are in perfect working condition now, with plenty of life left on the pads, car will stop on a dime!!

TB was done at 77k, so you are good to go until 150k.
Transmission was replaced with an upgraded, remanufactured transmission at 80k ish IIRC.

Have all documentation for all work done on the car including purchase of winter wheels and tires.

If I get my Asking price, I will throw in a brand new OEM car cover and Front end cover, Over $300 value, as well as a computer with the EBAY Vag Com

Asking Price is $9500 OBRO

Car is located In Upstate New York.

Will provide pictures upon request!!

What exactly do you mean? Not sure I want to go to an automatic trans at this time. Bump for a clean A6 with the monster 4.2! GLWS

the stock auto transmission for the 4.2 was known to fail between 75k-100k miles, I believe the years range from 2000 to mid 2002 until Audi fixed the problem and upgraded the failing part which i believe is something to do with either the torque converter or the valve body. This new transmission has the upgraded improved parts that it should have had stock!
