If you have a 01.5 it may not fit. Audi changed the shifter on most of the 01.5's.

itsbttrtopless29- I am fairly sure I answered this question already; I stated that I only know for a fact that it fits in a 2000 S4. I have no clue if it fits in a 98' A4. If you are interested, contact UCC and ask them.
