Well, it is a sad day for I sold my car and the only thing I didn't trade in the dealer was my Phatbox unit. I have all the parts with the unit and the unit has been hacked to work with all HU. I have the OEM CD connector along with the docking station. Looking to get 150.00 plus shipping for this unit.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what exactly is a phatbox. I got a Dension Gateway 5 and I can plug hard drives in to it. Am I better off doing that or getting a phatbox?

 

Phatbox was an OEM music box that fit directly into the back of the audi, where the CD changer sits. The connectors are OEM and works with the OEM headunit without having to change to an aftermakert HU. I am not sure what a Dension Gateway is or if it works with the OEM headunit.
