Were you able to open the sunroof with this setup?

Rack
It does open fine. After owning both major brands i highly recommend the Thule brand, far superior product and a much more secure fit. The yakima rack was not made FOR my car like thule does for Audi in sweden and the fit shows trust me.

So you are recommending the OEM Audi rack made by Thule, or an actual Thule? I like the Aero Blade idea, as I originally wanted a Whispbar. Thanks!

Thule does make the stock racks for them. I am just saying if you have the choice of the two brands there is a noticeable difference in the way the two are built for this vehicle. you can tell that the thule brand is European and built for a European car brand. My Yak rack would slip backwards on the car and was not a good fit.

Are you using the 480R or the 400XTR towers to clear the OSR?
Do you have any idea if Thule does Industry Pricing (I work in the bike industry and haven't gotten a response from them)?
I think I agree that Thule has a cleaner look, but Retail vs. Promotive might be the deciding factor if they don't.
Thanks again
