That's what happens when you drive turbo car's. You get either a DV noise or a BOV noise.

Would you take a creaking noise+cash for your whistle noise?

Try posting in the A6 section found here... https://www.audiforums.com/forumid_8/tt.htm
DV = diverter vavle
BOV = blow off valve...
the link will solve your problems though

RE: Whistle sound from interior while driving
Alright dude, this could be bad or it could be really bad...
How many miles are on your car?
Do you drive it aggressively?
How loud is the sound?
It might just be a "f*cking turbo sound* like the kid said, or it could be a busted turbo.
DV= Diverter Valve
BOV= Blow off Valve
BPV= By-pass Valve
If you havent done anything to your car then you have a Diverter Valve, the rubber diaphrams on the 2.7t models have been known to break but if you don't run it too rough that shouldnt be it. not to mention that wouldnt matter when you are accelerating because their job starts when the throttle is closed.
Those three questions are important, you can email me at thebassist360@aol.com.
Best of luck,
Riley
