Not to sound stupid but what would it take for me to install it on my car? And since it is setup for 93 Octane how will it work with 91? I don't know if I have 93 in my area.

01 Avants and the sedan use the same engine right? And is this tuned for an ko4 or a mk3 sport? Dependingthe deal ok by it

To all: My apologies, I was out of the country and just got back.

Installation is a breeze. You'll have to remove both windshield wipers and the rain guard to get to the box which is located on the driver's side of the firewall. Right behind the coolant reservoir. Then you remove 4 screws and the ECU is clamped down with a bar. Use a screw driver to undo the clamping and pull the clips on both sides of the rear of the ECU to disconnect. Then reverse your step. USE EXTREME CAUTION NOT TO BREAK ANY PARTS. So take your time and ask questions if not sure.
91 or 93 Octane? Can't help you there with an answer. Ask the forums, pretty sure there are quite a few who knows the answer to this. OR really search for 93 octane. I'd be surprised if you don't find it.

Avants and sedans 1.8t are exactly the same, of course, by years. It is a stage 1. I honestly don't know if it will fit on a VW. It is on my Avant right now.

I do also have 01.5 A4 1.8T will the ECU work with on my car. It's manual if that makes a difference.
