FS: AWE-Tuning Tubular Headers for a 2000-2002 S4
Up for grabs is a pair of authentic AWE-Tuning Tubular Headers for a 2000-2002 S4. $1150 FIRM. These same headers sell for $3K at AWE!
You can expect to see gains of 9-10 HP at higher RPMs, 20 ft-lbs of torque, & much less turbo lag with these headers. The owner of AWE put down 448whp on his conservative reading AWD Mustang Dyno with these headers & K04s.
The thermal ceramic coating is coming off in a few spots, but this is normal since exhaust gas temperatures are so high. They could be re-coated (at the buyer's expense), but I don't recommend it since the new coating will just come off again with time & use.
These headers have been thoroughly inspected, tested, & are guaranteed to not be cracked or damaged.
In order to ensure proper installation, the buyer will need to purchase new gaskets & hardware from AWE. I was quoted $191.15 for brand new manifold studs, nuts, gaskets, heat shields, & the driver side tubing bracket from Dan Meller @ AWE-Tuning.
