Default whu duh heck?

First time posting so I'm hoping for some help. I work at a garage that is increasingly seeing a lot more Audi's than ever before. Just last week the Audi dealer here sent us a 01 Allroad 2.7t that the owner requested a new radio be insdtalled, not a factory one, he wants a Pioneer. So my question is...how the heck do you put an aftermarket stereo in one of these things? We found a kit (for an A6), even what we where told is a harness that plugs in to the factory harness that you wire up any stereo to. Did all that and the only sound we get is from the factory sub on the right rear. I'm hopin someone has done this and can give us sum hep. Anybody?.....

Well the radio sez Audi Syphony sound, is that Bose? And if so, is there a turn on wire we're not catching?
