If you still have a misfire coming up after replacing all those parts you may want to do a general health check of the engine. I.E. a compression test would be a great place to start, followed by a cylinder leak down test and/or a block test. You can get a compression tester for not much money at your local Auto parts store or buy one online. I like to do a compression test when the engine is cold and then again when it's warmed up.

You said you only replaced one ICM? You may be unlucky enough to have replaced the wrong one. (as there's two) Try swapping the ICM's and see if the misfire moves to a different cylinder. If it moves you know you have a bad ICM. If it stays at the same cylinder than it's not the ICM. The two conditions (misfire/ticking) may be unrelated in that the other ICM is bad (misfire) and ticking is just some worn out components due to low oil or in frequent oil changes.

You may also have a fuel injector crapping out on you causing a lean and/or rich condition at your misfiring cylinder.

Others may chime in as to maybe a clogged PCV system? Something to think about. Smelling oil could be a leaking gasket and it's hitting the hot block or you could be burning oil in which case the smell would be coming more from the tailpipe.
