Pls help: Grinding/vibration during turning
Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum although I've owned an allroad for almost 2 years. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. It's an 05 model, automatic with 32,000 km on the clock. Bought it used at a dealer and still carry the warranty 'til next year. However, since I bought the car, itmade grinding noise and vibration during full radius turn.I suspected that there's something wrong with the driveshaft. 2 months ago I had the car inspected in the dealer and they said they need to replacetheshaft linkage or somethin.Ordered the parts under warrantyandreplacedit last week. But when I received back the car 2 days ago, carwas still vibratingwhen turningandno change at all.Asked the mechanic and their answer"That's a common thing in all Allroad and all'dbehave the same".I'm noidiot who can simply accept that 5th grader explanation. Plan toinspect the car at an independent more reliable shop tomorrow and listall the issues I can claim before the warrant expired. Is this a common problem with all allroad? What's exactlycause the fault?
Btw,authorized audi servicehere is totally sucks, mechanics don't know what they're doingat all. They'd rather hesistant to replace part under warranty. Any comment/help is really appreciated
Thanks,
Chris

RE: Pls help: Grinding/vibration during turning
Thanks for the input....Is there a way I can report this unfair practice to Audi Germany customer service? I just called the dealer and they won't change my parts since they couldn't find anything wrong with my car.
