Default Pics of the Allroad

Just washed, clayed, and waxed the allroad then went and got it tinted, 35% all the way around. I just picked it up from the tint shop but I'm loving the tint already. not too dark, but just dark enough for some privacy

now just to fix the faded/hazy headlights and the car will look brand new

Looks sick man, im going to tint my windows to 35% as well which is legal limit in oregon. how did you get your car to sit so low? i have the same car, '01, same color, same wheels. wheels are a bitch to clean. how was the clay and waxing for ya, im going to do that as well this summer.

yeah 35% looks great. haha the lowered look wasnt me, the cars slowly lowering itself... im hoping the bags dont go soon but if they do im thinking of replacing them with coilovers cause i kinda like the height that its at right now. yeah its a great color combo. claying made a huge difference, took out all the little imperfections, and made the fenders/bumpers look brand new. i used the griots garage random orbital to wax it and it just made the car shine like you wouldnt believe, it looks and feels great. I highly suggest it

Looks good. I went darker with my tint, however, it might be illegal. Oh well... story of my life.

do you know what the cost of converting to coil over's looks like yet. i've toyed with that idea as well that if mine ever go out i'd look into that as well. i gotta find my dam buffer in my garage, its buried somewhere, then ill get started on giving mine a new shine as well. luckily when i bought mine the dude re-painted the fenders and bumpers for me and it looks sick as hell with them repainted.

yeah thats a neat look, like the paint matched option combined with a twist. i dont have any experience with this shop but have heard great things about them and i havent done any further research but they are the only ones i know of that do the replacement.
http://www.2bennett.com/
look at the top of the allroad page
looks around $2000. the system is custom built and it completely replaces the air ride. click on the More Info link. if your a dyi guy it looks like you can do it yourself.

yea im not much of a DIY guy, i'd like to be, just dont have all the equipment or experience to do it, o well. 2G not bad considering you wouldnt have to worry about bag issues ever again. So, with coil overs, you can set the springs to the ride height you want correct, then is it a good idea to go and get it alligned to match??? ive never had any experience with coil overs before?

i can wait to get the tints and stuff done to my car as well, where i from we've got some sick jetty's we can drive out on that look under a bridge that connects oregon and washington, itd be a sick place to get some pics of the car. the pics i posted were at my apt. where i go to college. nothing special.

Hey Mctavish11, can I ask what you paid to have your fenders and bumbers painted?
