Default how to get radio code?

Just got 03 allroad 6-sp without owners manual and no radio code.
My first maintenance steps lead to disconnecting the battery and the manual warns (alldatadiy.com) that radio code will be needed.
Any advice?

you need to get it from the dealer, they charge about $100. I just got mine last month.

Verified with the dealer and you are right. I guess the cost depends on location - Phoenix audi - the one that owned the car and their charge is $60. Here in Denver it is done for free by McDonald Audi. Maybe it depends on how far from California you are :-)
