How do I care for Allroad roof and (vinyl?) trim?
Hi!
My wife and I just purchased a beautiful low-mileage '04 Allroad V8 last night. We like to keep our cars looking good. We have tried searching the web (and this forum) to find out what should be done to care for the roof and for the trim around the bumpers and wheel wells, etc.
For example, can we just clay, polish, and wax like the main body, or is there something extra we should or should not do (e.g. use vinyl conditioner on the trim)?
Thanks very much!

You're going to love this car. As I'm not an expertat detailing and such, I cant really help you but there are couple things i can tell you. First of all, whether you have twin spoke or not, wheels are bitch to clean. You'll understand itsoon enough. Secondly, take a good care of aluminum parts. They can corrode or lose the shineif not maintained properly, although it normally doesnt happen.
Just one more thing, AR is a gas hog.
goold luck
