Someone dented the hell out of my driver's side door. It's a weird dent...put a straight crease right in the middle of the friggin door. Looks like somebody slammed it pretty hard with an SUV door cause the crease is too high to have been a car. No way the a-hole couldn't have noticed it, but of course they didn't leave a note or anything. Sucks...you can see it a mile away. My car is now ghetto-fied.

Luckily thats an easy fix on an audi. All you need is a body hammer and a dowell (or a rock)
Take out the window carrier and you got a clear shot at the dent from inside the door, just bang it out, no paint necessary.

 

I'm gonna have a go at trying to bang it out myself once the weather warms up a bit.I'm no body man, but I think I can do it if I go slow.

I have read many of your threads and you seem very knowledgeable about AUDIs.

I hope you can help me. I have a 97 Audi Quattro. About a year ago, I took my car to a dealer to test the CEL. Service told me I needed to replace EGR valve. Did it myself with a new one. After about 3 months, light returned. Same P0401 code came up, insufficient flow, EGR valve!

Can you offer any more advice on what to check for? All of the vacuum lines look good. Took the entire intake manifold off, cleaned the hell out of it. Should of cleaned the Temp sensor, but didn't. Is this easy to get too?
