Thought you guys and gals would like to know about my experience installing the Arnott Air Bag. I replaced the front left only, fit in perfectly, I would recommened having a helper took us about 2 hours easy work, Great Product
and the bonus it cost me less then 350.00 total.

 

I am tring to deside which to buy
my front left bag leaks
should I buy just a replacement bag
or should I buy a pair gen 2

my car budget is small now (2Kids)

and I still need Hsports

car has about 85k miles on it

 

I got the pair of Arnotts when my left front started to leak a couple of months ago. It seemed like time if one was leaking the other probably wasn't far behind. The shop I took it to had to get a different O-ring though, Arnott shipped the wrong ones. 300 each for the bags and installation was 100 each (worth it). They also found some other problems while it was apart (control arms) so I saved by getting all done at once.

is more my question

 

Gen I if you're budget minded and want to retain the similar ride. Gen II are supposed to be firmer. I have a pair of Gen I on the front and while very similar to the stock springs, they are an improved ride. Just a tad less wallowing, but not jarring at all. They just feel like a more solid ride.

BTW...you can purchase from Arnott through Amazon for $268 a spring.

 

I agree great product, I installed the left front, couple of months ago, fit was perfect as of today its working great.
