2002 allroad timing belt
I have 2002 allroad with 87,000 miles. Car runs great. I want to have major service ( tuneup) and dealer thinks I should do timing belt, etc. What is experience with time for changing timing belt?

RE: 2002 allroad timing belt
are you asking when you should get it done? or how long does it pay to do it? 60,000 miles is when you should. those internals are expensive.. audis are like high maintenance chicks.. keep up with their maintenance and they will stay fun, dont, and you'll pay more in the end...

I think it is 100k miles and cost ~$1000.

also while you do it, make sure that you get the water pump, t-stat, cam seals, vc gaskets, etc
It adds about $500 on the the bill when you do the t belt, but saves you $1000 when your seals are leaking

RE: 2002 allroad timing belt
i had cam seals done at 60 and car runs perfect.
I will do timing at 90k prob.
just maintain well and you will be fine. or find a freind that can do it for a case of beer!
AND BIOCPU, your car can jump water, mine did!
