All this stared when i decided to purchase a navigation system from china. Now the owner is asking me if my car has a can-bus that i will need to connect the unit, or else he'll have to send me a diffrent model. I found out with my VIN number that my car is on a B6 Platform. I called Ross-tech.com first and spoke with Dana who was very helpfull and told me that the car does not have a can bus. The dealer would say it did, another would say it dont. But thsi woman knew all about it and even gave me the link from their website showing the diagram of all this. Or was she trying to push a sale. Can anyone confirm this? Does it not have a can bus? Should i still recieve the unit with can bus connections and still be able to adapt, convert or modify. If i remember correctly the lady says more than likely yes, but need to know whats inside my car first. Heres the site:

Does it iluminate red to match your dash and did they tell you more or less how much you would have to pay customs?

I also have an 02' B6. I have the symphony system in mines and when i changed out the symphony stereo to a Sony double din In-dash i remember not having a CAN BUS adapter. Only way to find out is remove your stock stereo and check.
BTW... very nice navi system... how much did u pay for it? want to sell it? LoL... j/k
