Default FS: 2000 Audi A6 4.2 Quattro Sport, $10,000 OBO

Hello all, I've decided to sell my Audi. The car is honestly too big for just my daily commuting, especially because I'm normally by myself. It's been a great car and I've only ever had one major thing go wrong with it, which was the outer pinion bearing in the center differential went bad, so I had to have the entire center differential rebuilt a couple years ago. Cost me about $2800, but it's perfect now. The car is a 2000 Audi A6 Quattro, so it's all-wheel drive, has the 4.2 liter V-8 motor that puts out a little bit over 300 horsepower, and is the sport model, which is extremely rare to find in this body style. The sport model includes special seats with larger bolsters and a distinctive seat and door pattern, larger 17" aluminum wheels with wider tires, bolder door fins, and a stiffer, sportier suspension. The car has close to 113,000 miles on it now as I use it for my daily driver back and forth to my office, which is a little over 8 miles away from my house. To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing mechanically wrong with the car at all, and it runs perfect. The power is smooth and will set you back in your seat pretty good if you get a little heavy with your right foot. The Quattro all-wheel drive is wonderful in the snow/ice/rain and the traction control coupled with this never ceases to amaze me in adverse weather conditions. This is also one of the first Audi's to come with factory GPS navigation, which is displayed in the center of the instrument cluster and also talks to you to tell you where and when to turn. I had the timing belt, tensioners, and water pump replaced less than 12k miles ago. The brake pads and rotors were all replaced less than 10k miles ago, along with brand new tires that only have about 8k miles on them. The car has all 4 heated seats, with 6 different levels of heat to choose from, so even the passengers in the back can enjoy heated seats. The car is an automatic 5-speed with tiptronic.

The car is silver in color (lake silver to be exact), with black (ebony per Audi) leather interior. Comes with factory keyless entry, remote up/down of all windows and sunroof by using the key fob. The main key is a switchblade style and I also have all the other keys for it (ie Valet key, mechanics key, and the small plastic wallet key). The car also has auto dimming/heated mirrors, HID xenon headlights (which feature an automatic adjusters that rely off of the geometry of the frame to dictate how the headlights should be aimed), Parktronic (back up sensors), tinted moonroof, etc. Just about everything you would expect from an Audi.

Car also has a stage 2 ecu chip and a stage 2 tcu chip from VAST performance in detroit. Both of these cost me about $700. Basically just made the car a little bit "peppier".

Ok, well this is getting very wordy, and if you can't tell by now, I know my cars pretty well and my Audi is no exception. I absolutely love this car, but it's not really practical for me to have, and soon I might be needing to get a pickup truck, so unfortunately I'm going to have to sell this to get anything else. I'm going to go ahead and put some pictures up now. If you'd like additional or area specific pictures, please feel free to email me at mustang196718@gmail.com and ask and I'd be more than happy to send them to you.

I'd like to get $10,000 OBO for it, which is pretty fair per kelley blue book, thank you.

Car is located with me in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

My cell number is 260-444-6554. If I can't answer, please leave me a message so that I can call you back, or write me an email (mustang196718@gmail.com).
Thank you,
Mike
